My husband, Casey and I |
Casey
My husband and I met when I was 14 and he was 15. We first saw each other at my brother's birthday party. My brother,
Shawn, and Casey were really good friends long before I ever met Casey. We also ran into one another again through mutual
friends, Tammy and Richard Skinner, whom eventually pushed us into being in a relationship. Casey and I formed a
solid friendship and then it eventually blossomed into a lasting love of five years now. I thank God every day for sending
him to me to be my life long soul mate and partner and the father of my children. He is a loving husband, and father and I
couldnt ask for a better man to spend my life with.

Mickey and Leighanne |
My Big Sister
The picture above is my sister and her husband, Mickey. My older sister, Leighanne, and I have not always had the
best relationship until our children were born. My sister had a daughter June 29,2002 who she named, Olivia Hope, and
I had my son, Michael Kobe, on August 28,2002, so our pregnancies were only eight weeks apart. During this time period we
really began to get close, and our children have stayed together while we go to work during the week with their Nanny
Carla, our mother, since they were infants, so this has also formed a close bond between us and our children and I am so glad
that things worked out as they did. I wouldnt have it any other way. Leighanne is expecting another baby December 4,2005 and
we are all hoping that this one is a boy!

Michael "Kobe"
My son, Kobe, has been the joy of my life from the moment that I first
laid eyes on him. He has brougth more love, joy, unity, and happiness into my family than I ever imagined such a
small little person could. It's amazing how you can love something so small more than your own life. I love
my son more than anyone and anything in this world...even his daddy! lol Kobe loves to do things like running, drawing
and coloring pictures, getting into EVERYTHING!,being tickled, watching movies, especially "Spiderman" and "The Neverending
Story", occasionally he plays the Playstation 2, racing the cars, four wheelers, and motorcycles, he is an outdoor child...he
LOVES being outside running and doing as much as he can...especially playing in the dirt. He is a very hyper child,
but he is very loving, polite, and patient, WHEN HE FEELS LIKE IT lol. :) Kobe is having a really hard time learning
to go to the potty. We have been trying so hard, but it seems like we are getting nowhere, so if you have any good advice
PLEASE EMAIL IT TO ME. Kobe will be turning three on August 28,2005. I can't believe how quickly he has grown
up. We named Kobe, Michael "Kobe", because I had an Uncle who passed away with Chron's disease about three
years ago before I got pregnant with Kobe, and he meant the world to me as a child. He was always so kind and loving and understanding,
but he never had kids because of his condition and I wanted more than anything to let him live on through my baby boy
and I hope that Kobe can grow up someday and be proud of the name that I have given him, because his Uncle Mike
was a good man and someone that is loved and missed by all.
